We started Mr. Macaw Coffee to share a part of Brazil that means a lot to us.

HOW IT STARTED

Coffee has always been part of David's story.

David grew up in Brazil, not far from some of the country's coffee-growing regions. With firsthand experience in coffee farming and commercialization, he knows the work, knowledge, and care that go into producing a good cup of coffee.

When we started Mr. Macaw, we wanted to bring that connection to Canada. Not just the coffee itself, but a little of the culture around it. In Brazil, coffee is something you offer when someone comes over. It's part of a conversation, a visit, or an ordinary afternoon.

That's the feeling we hope to share. Good Brazilian coffee, carefully chosen, freshly roasted, and enjoyed however you like it.

One of our favourite parts of running Mr. Macaw has been getting to know the people who make our local community so special.

You'll find us at the Elora Farmers' Market and the Elora Centre for the Arts, where we've had the chance to share our coffee, meet new faces, and get to know our regulars. What started as a love for Brazilian coffee has grown into something we're proud to be building right here in Elora.

We believe in supporting local businesses, makers, and the people who bring our community to life. We're grateful to be part of a place where people genuinely show up for one another, and we're happy to do our part.
